Marc is the Founder of Jaclise International – a strategic advisory firm focused on complex families and family offices around the world. As the engine behind Jaclise, Marc draws on his deep expertise in transnational tax and legal planning, business and operational strategy, family business and family office services and guidance regarding direct and co-investment opportunities to deliver exceptional business solutions for the families that he serves.
Marc’s global family advisory expertise builds upon more than twenty years living and working in Russia and the Middle East in addition to his previous career as a corporate lawyer in New York and Chicago. Marc devoted nearly two decades with Ernst & Young in Moscow and New York in various private client roles as well as several years as managing director and general counsel of a boutique merchant bank headquartered in the Middle East.
Marc has extensive experience advising global companies, privatelyheld businesses, family offices, merchant family groups, endowments and foundations regarding structuring and board governance issues, domestic and international regulatory compliance, internal policies and procedures as well as family business and family office succession planning and strategy.
Marc received his J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Soviet Studies and Russian language from the University of Notre Dame. Marc’s personal interests include art exhibitions and museums, books and literature, classical music, foreign languages, international travel, tinkering away on the next great spy thriller and seemingly fleeting time with his family.
